Install QuantityLock from Shopify

QuantityLock is installed through the Shopify App Store and connects directly to your store. Once installed, you can start creating product quantity limits, including Minimum Quantities and Maximum Quantities.

1. Open the app listing
2. Go to the QuantityLock Shopify App Store listing and select Start free trial or Get started.
3. Choose the store to install on
4. If you manage more than one Shopify store, choose the store where you want to use QuantityLock.
5. Approve the installation
6. On Shopify's install screen, review the app access request and click Install.
7. Open QuantityLock
8. After Shopify finishes the install, the app opens in your admin. You can also return to it later from Apps in Shopify admin and select QuantityLock.

Choose your plan

During setup, you may be asked to confirm a plan before you begin using the app.

• Free Plan: includes 1 x Product quantity limits and Custom validation messages.
• Standard: includes a 14 day free trial, Unlimited Product quantity limits, and Custom validation messages.

If you only need to test the app on a single product, the Free Plan is enough to get started.

Confirm the installation worked

After the app opens, confirm you can access QuantityLock and begin creating rules for your store.

• You can open the app from Apps in Shopify admin.
• You should be able to start creating product quantity limits.
• The app supports both Minimum Quantities and Maximum Quantities.
• You can customize the message shown to shoppers with Custom validation messages.

What QuantityLock helps you do

After installation, QuantityLock helps you control how many units a customer can buy in a single order.

• Set minimum order quantities for wholesale or bulk purchases.
• Set maximum purchase limits to protect limited inventory.
• Prevent orders that do not meet your quantity rules.
• Show a custom message when a shopper tries to add too few or too many items.
